CURRICULUM

The Academy follows the prescribed curriculum of the Mizoram Board of School Education for which examinations shall be conducted. Apart from the prescribed core subjects, elective subjects/papers will be available to students. The curriculum shall include basic lessons on the following:

• Music Theory (Trinity College, London/Rock School, London) with choral singing as practice;

• Moral & Religious Studies;

• Spoken Hindi class; 

• Mizo traditional dances.

 

LIBRARY

A library with books of different genre, novels and guidebooks, fictions and references, relating to subjects taught in class and leisure are available in the Library. Equipped with computers for computer classes, the library provides the opportunity for book exploration and information science.

 

SPECIAL COURSE (Grade/Certificate courses)

Students may take up any of the special courses based upon their interests. Additional fees shall be required. These courses are also open to students outside the Academy. Classes shall be conducted twice a week; additional classes may be convened when necessary. Please see SPECIAL COURSE in the dropdown menu for further information.
